1. Check-in
📍 Arrival to the property needs to be coordinated in advance with our local team. The first step is simple: send us a message on WhatsApp at +55 71 99969-0778. We'll create a group chat to connect you with us (the hosts) and our trusted staff on the ground.
From there, we’ll assist you with whatever you need:
Help choosing the best transportation option (catamaran, car, ferry, airplane, semi-terrestial combining land and sea transportation, etc) Arranging porters and/or internal boat transfers, if needed Real-time arrival coordination to make sure everything flows smoothly (sharing live location usually helps a lot) Here in Bahia, things tend to unfold in their own rhythm—nothing is ever exactly planned, and yet somehow, everything always works out. That said, we’re also Swiss—so don’t worry, we’ll make sure the details are in good hands. 🧭
2. House Rules
💧️ Water Wisdom: Tap water here comes from a natural well. It may look a bit yellowish due to local minerals, but it’s totally safe to brush your teeth. For extra peace of mind, there's filtered water in the service area.
⚡️ Cameras: We’re off the beaten path, and we love it that way. But just a heads-up: power can occasionally flicker or be limited, especially during heavy rains. It’s all part of the charm—and the stars shine brighter when the lights go out.
🎥 Smoking: For everyone’s safety, there are outdoor security cameras around the property. They do not record inside your bungalow, of course. Your privacy is sacred.
🚭 Smoking: No smoking indoors, please. You’re welcome to smoke outside—just be kind to nature and use the ashtrays or bins provided.
🥂 Minibar: There’s a small minibar in your space. Ask our staff for prices and they will be charged separately. Enjoy!
🐸 About the Little Visitors: You may spot a frog or lizard sneaking through now and then. They're totally harmless—and part of the ecosystem we share. As for mosquitoes: we’ve got mosquito nets in place and recommend repellent, especially around dusk.
🤫 Quiet Hours: To keep the vibe tranquil for everyone, we ask for quiet hours between 10:00 PM and 7:00 AM, in line with local law. But it's also true that in Bahia, cultural rhythms and celebrations sometimes stretch beyond those limits. Sound systems, parties, or even spontaneous gatherings can happen with a certain spontaneity that doesn’t always align with the law—or with what travelers might expect.

4. Breakfast
🥐 Breakfast: will be delivered to your accommodation in a basket each morning. It would mean a lot if you could return the basket to the service area before heading out for the day. It helps keep the ants out of your bungalow—and saves our team a few extra steps (and leg workouts!).🌞
5. Housekeeping
🧺 Daily cleaning can be arranged upon request (small extra fee). Towels are refreshed every three days. Need extras? Just let us know. Laundry is available at R$30 per wash—just hand it off in advance and we’ll take care of it. 🧹
6. Care & Damages
🪴 Our home has been designed and built with great care, using artisanal materials and handcrafted pieces that make each space truly unique. We kindly ask all guests to treat the house and its furnishings with the same care and appreciation.
Please note that many items—whether furniture, ceramics, fabrics, or fixtures—are custom made or sourced locally, and replacing them is not always simple or immediate, not to mention the logistics and associated costs to get things delivered to an island and ported all the way up to each accomidation. What might seem like a small damage can take time to repair or replace, which affects the experience of the next guests. If any accidental damage occurs, please let us know as soon as possible so we can address it promptly and fairly.
